A large group of volunteers is assembled to judge vehicles in each class. Each vehicle is judged by a two-person team using paint, exterior, interior, engine and presentation as criteria. If a vehicle's total score is 80 or more, up to 8 points may be added for mileage based on a graduated scale of "points for mileage." Judges are members of various car clubs in the middle Georgia area and other individuals who have experience and knowledge of antique, custom, classic and special-type vehicles. Judging scores and sheets are made available to entrants after the show upon request.

The show welcomes all type vehicles and has approximately 50 classes for cars, trucks, motorcycles and specialty vehicles. Production year groups go from antiques to contemporary vehicles and separate classes are provided for modified and stock vehicles. Trailored vehicles are judged separately and specialty classes include military, professional, people's choice and commander's choice (selected by a senior commander from Robins AFB.)
